Heather and Brian are soon to be first time parents as they await the arrival of their little one due in the next few weeks.  Originally from Indiana, they now make their home in Florida so we had a limited time frame to work with during their recent visit.  They flew up in February for a baby shower and we prayed the weather would cooperate.  Thankfully, the sun was shining but it was still VERY cold!  Heather handled it in stride as we photographed around the melting snow piles :)

And today is Heather’s Birthday!  Couldn’t think of a better time to post this for you..Enjoy!

undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefined I feel very lucky to be a tiny part of such special times in the lives of my clients.  New life is a joyous thing and to celebrate it in this fashion is a true honor.  There’s nothing quite as beautiful as a mommy to be, and Heather just proves it!  Brian and Heather, thanks for braving the Indiana weather and for a fun morning.  Looking forward to hearing the good news very soon.  Heather, I hope your day is fabulous!!!

This was the second time I had the pleasure of photographing this wonderful family!  Jenna is also a photographer, and over the past year of sharing stories and ideas, she has become a treasured friend.   Last year, Jenna and Andy moved to their new home on a beautiful piece of property in the country.  It was a perfect location to document this time in their lives with two busy boys as they await the arrival of their baby girl this summer!

undefined It’s official.  I have the greatest job ever.  Because last week one of my job requirements was to meet little Mason and Mackenzie and snuggle them as much as I could.  Aren’t you jealous ;)  These two little ones were just a few days old when I met them, but already their individual personalities were becoming very much their own.  Big brother Mason, older by one minute, likes to be cuddled all the time while little Mackenzie is the epitome of go with the flow.  Mom and Dad are definitely still in awe of these two new lives and are quick to always say how blessed they know they are.

And here is Mackenzie’s first official close up!

Krista and Nate, I am so, so thrilled that you allowed me to come and photograph your little bundles :)  They are so beautiful and a blessing to all who know you!  I hope you’re all sleeping and that big bro Maddox is adjusting.

And if you haven’t noticed, we’ve added a new look to our Weeds Program!  My dear friend Alicia at Sophie Design Boutique has once again given me a great look to accompany the images from baby’s first year.  I love the whimsical look of the added design that complements Erin Photography perfectly!
