It’s official. I have the greatest job ever. Because last week one of my job requirements was to meet little Mason and Mackenzie and snuggle them as much as I could. Aren’t you jealous ;) These two little ones were just a few days old when I met them, but already their individual personalities were becoming very much their own. Big brother Mason, older by one minute, likes to be cuddled all the time while little Mackenzie is the epitome of go with the flow. Mom and Dad are definitely still in awe of these two new lives and are quick to always say how blessed they know they are.
And here is Mackenzie’s first official close up!
And the very tightly snuggled Mason.
Krista and Nate, I am so, so thrilled that you allowed me to come and photograph your little bundles :) They are so beautiful and a blessing to all who know you! I hope you’re all sleeping and that big bro Maddox is adjusting.
And if you haven’t noticed, we’ve added a new look to our Weeds Program! My dear friend Alicia at Sophie Design Boutique has once again given me a great look to accompany the images from baby’s first year. I love the whimsical look of the added design that complements Erin Photography perfectly!
My friendship with Katie has always meant the world to me. In high school, she was my pseudo-sister and the person whose house you could always find me at. We went to dances, cried over boys…oh goodness…such a long time ago! She was the maid of honor at my wedding. As our lives have grown to include husbands, children and careers, we don’t get the chance to talk as much as we’d like (unless you count the marathon facebook chats that happen when our kiddos are napping). We always pick right back up where we left off.
Katie and husband Jarod welcomed little Jillian last November and along with son Jay, they became a family of four. I hadn’t spoken to Katie in months until one very cold January afternoon when she tracked me down on facebook…of course! She wanted to do a session with the little lady and boom..it was done!
Jillian was so wide awake that we prayed she would doze off for at least a few! Meanwhile, big brother Jay was cracking me up and forcing me to constantly stifle my sometimes obnoxious laugh! That boy is hilarious….although he didn’t want his picture taken!
I told Katie that I was going to steal this super soft green blanket she has….because it matches my logo ;)
As Jillian dozed off, Katie, Jay and I dined on taco pizza (a favorite from high school) and crammed as much conversation as we could into our early afternoon. Just like old times :) Can’t wait to see everyone again soon!
