undefined These two are a dream to photograph.  Their body language screams out how in love they are and I am very  much looking forward to photographing their wedding at the end of the month!

We worked around an incoming thunderstorm for their late afternoon session, finding that the dark sky gave us some unique location possibilities that I don’t always get.  And with their love oozing from every pore, they made every place look so warm.  Here are  few favorites:

undefined Nothing better than genuine laughter caught on camera :)

I almost can’t believe I’m posting this session…because I thought it was NEVER going to happen!  With all the annoying rain, day after day, Jamie and I have been playing phone tag and rescheduling.  I think the magic day came on the fourth try!  Now the hard part was finding dry ground to work with!

I seriously love these two :)  They were so relaxed from the first shot.  I think I laughed from start to finish…as did Jamie..cracking jokes along the way!  She made a comment something like, “Now I know why everyone is laughing in your pictures.”  She obviously thinks I’m funnier than my husband does ;)

undefined SPRING!!!  Who knew it was actually hiding behind all those rain clouds.

undefined

undefined That brings us to the next location…and the story that goes with it.  I had this great little barn I wanted to go to which was settled at the top of a hill and surrounded by farm ground.   The lane up to the barn was a narrow path of tall grass.  I pulled in and debated driving all the way up.  Yes, I know it’s been very wet, which is why I hesitated.  I asked Kyle what he thought.  He simply said, “You have four wheel drive.”  Which I took for DO IT!  Not smart.  Not at all.  It became very interesting from there…I’ll leave it to your imagination ;)  Regardless of the trouble, the images were so worth it!

undefined Jamie and Kyle, this is one session I will NEVER forget!  Looking forward to your wedding in July!

And just for the record, Kyle I don’t blame you for the four wheel drive comment and for getting stuck…but I would have if it meant calling my husband to pull us out ;)

Let the wedding season begin!  It’s been a long, LONG winter and I for one am looking forward to tomorrow’s wedding just as much as the bride and groom…well, maybe not quite in the same way!  It will be an elegant affair and rain or shine, the bride will be glowing.  It’s wedding day!!!!

Dusty is part of my church family and I’ve come to love his parents, sisters, nieces and nephews like my own.  I first got to know Jenny last fall during the engagement shoot.  She and Dusty are a lot like my husband and myself in that he’s a little country and I’m a little more rock and roll.  Ok, did I really just compare us to Donny and Marie???  Oh well, you definitely get the idea!  Dusty is a true outdoorsman so we started the session at his parents house.  Where else but in the country!

undefined

undefined Now, here comes the rock and roll!  As you can see, Jenny is one stylish gal and I absolutely cannot wait to see how her vision for her wedding has come together.
