I met Rowan late last summer along with his mom and dad. They were up from their home near Indianapolis and we snuck in a quick shoot on one of the most sweltering nights imaginable. Rowan has to be one of the cutest babies with his big brown eyes and chubby cheeks…and don’t you just adore his hat?!
Yes, he was happiest without any clothes on….August in Indiana, who can blame him?
HAHA!!!!! I couldn’t resist posting this one ;)
I recently shot Rowan’s one year session too…he’s changed so much! And this time he dons some seriously cute winter gear ;) Images coming soon!
Oh, I have been getting my baby snuggles in lately and I’ve been loving every second :) Meet little Jonathan who came into the world this January. He is little brother to Katelyn and farmer in training for the Borne family. And he was happy as a clam all morning as long as we kept him warm and toasty! He was only a few days old when I met him…there’s something special about walking into a home that is adjusting to new life. It feels quiet, and calm…and I know that most of the time it is anything but. There’s a hush that you can feel, like an exhale. He’s here. He’s safe. He’s perfect. And we’re all exhausted ;) My job is to not only photograph their new little bodies but to tire the newborns out so much that mom and dad (and hopefully sis) can all catch a decent afternoon nap! HA!
Loved his massive amounts of dark hair! And mom, Amanda looked so beautiful…and happy :)
Such a beautiful family! I’m sure miss Katelyn is being such a good helper! She looks pretty proud to say the least! Congratulations Bornes on your little man!
I have known these boys for most of their lives, photographing them for so many years I can’t keep track :) They’ve turned into young men in front of my various lenses but they continue to be the same funny, teasing brothers I remember from before. They never cease to teach me a few jokes and tell me stories with lots of detail about school, swimming or other things they’ve been up to lately. I love that they are so comfortable with me that they keep me informed ;) Mostly, I love that they crack me up..as well as each other.
We met on a very HOT afternoon last summer and had a few items on the agenda. One was to photograph them in their most natal summer habitat…the pool. Brayden and Parker are both swimmers and are active in school as well as the summer club in Berne. Such a great idea to incorporate things that have meaning to them at this age….we even did some IN the pool..myself included. I threatened each of them within an inch of their lives that if they splashed me they would pay ;) They were both perfect gentlemen…but did enjoy getting a little too close for comfort a few times!
Such stud muffins :) Thanks boys for having fun and making sure I stayed dry!
