I was so thrilled to have the opportunity to photograph miss Lana last month during her very first visit to Indiana! You may remember her mom and dad’s maternity session from earlier this year which you can revisit here. Heather and Brian make their home in Florida now and shortly after Lana’s arrival, Heather emailed to tell me she just booked a last minute flight back here for a visit and was hoping to get in a session during their stay…um..YES!!!
Miss Lana (pronounced Law-na) had had a busy few days of being introduced to family which means she was a bit off of her regular routine. And although she wasn’t sure if she was hungry, or tired, or just wanted held, she was still such a happy girl.
I just loved her bright eyes and perfect little mouth :)
Heather, I’m so glad you thought to call me and that I could meet your beautiful little girl. Hope you’re all doing well and that our paths cross again soon!!
Preston has been the sweetest little boy from the first day I met him. At every session, his smiles are generous and his giggles are contagious! He celebrated his first birthday this past Spring and we documented the milestone at his Grandma and Grandpa H’s house on the farm. He was not yet walking then but I’m sure by now he’s running circles around mom and dad!
Dad was so proud to have Preston up on the tractor with him :) Preston, you are the sweetest little man and I am so thankful to have shared in the first year of your life!
Kylee and Luke will be married in just a few short days from now….I seriously cannot believe it! I have known Luke as long as I’ve known my husband. His parents are close friends of my in-laws and I have spent more time than imaginable with all of them. Luke was always a cute kid and how is a handsome man and father…and soon husband will be added to that list. He has found his match in the beautiful Kylee and I know their wedding will be nothing short of perfect!
Their engagement session was scheduled amidst the crazy rain of late Spring and to top it off, it was also the morning after they had moved into their new home. Did I mention Kylee just got a new job and they have a son? Yes, these two have been crazy busy the last few months but you wouldn’t have known it with how relaxed they were from the first click of the shutter. I adore how affectionate they are with one another and how easy they are to laugh. That combination always makes for a great session :)
Kylee has great legs…and eyes. Oh, and a fantastic smile. And if you’re wondering, yes. Their son is GORGEOUS too!!!
This was about the time that I drove Kylee and Luke out to the middle of nowhere…ok, so it was technically only a mile or two from my house ;) They rolled up their jeans and squished through the muddy field without complaining just for the sake of these yellow weeds…SO worth it!
Kylee and Luke, I am so honored that you asked me to photograph your wedding…and even if you hadn’t, I wouldn’t have missed it for the world!!!! Can’t wait to see you both on Saturday!!!!!!!
